ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Art has always been something that I've enjoyed at a young age. I would do sketches/line arts of my toys and color them in different ways. That eventually led me to toy-collecting, from fast food toys to designer toys. I got a chance to work at a local designer toy store, Play Imaginative Pte Ltd for a couple of months and this exposed me to number of different styles and designs from various talented designers. I realized that I'm attracted to clear and clean visuals, which got me interested in the career path of Concept Art and the casual games industry.
On the side I'm part of a local Hip Hop Dance Crew and have been lucky enough to represent Singapore in various international dance competitions, clinching top 3 positions and have been resident dancers at Avalon Singapore since then. Dance has taught me how to convey a clear visual message with minimal use of words, much like how the concept art industry conveys their designs to the audience.
I played a small amount of games on and off but what appeals to me most was the art of casual games, with interesting designs and visuals which I believed was the one of the reasons that kept the consumers coming back. I am hardworking, organized, efficient and passionate about what I do.
